Smart Beaches Project Launch

On 8 Dec Minister Dominello officially launched the next phase of the Smart Beaches project.

$1.6 million has been allocated as part of the NSW Smart Places acceleration program, to expand the project beyond the Northern Beaches and Lake Macquarie to five new council areas up and down the coast.

"Resources are scarce and if we can manage our resources better, we'll have better outcomes for people who go to the beach as part of the Australian tradition," Digital Government Minister Victor Dominello said.
