"Full-scale training exercises like the ones recently conducted at Potter Point play an important role in sharpening up the skills of the council's ocean safety lifeguard team and ensuring everyone knows their role in responding to a real-life emergency," Sutherland Shire Council's public safety manager Brett Richardson said.

Sutherland Shire have a lot of experience in running training exercises such as these. If you are interested in running something similar at your Council please reach out to Brett at Sutherland.
